Want to buy an Aerostich suit, but you want to make sure it fits just right? If you live near Pleasanton, California, then there’s good news. There’s an Aerostich pop-up retail event coming to town, over April 16-19.

Aerostich’s made-in-Minnesota suits are a longtime favorite of the hard-miles-in-bad-weather set. Or dedicated moto-commuters. Or really, an extremely wide variety of motorcyclists who want gear that meets their specific needs, and built to fit their specific size. That’s where Aerostich’s pop-up events come in.

You can mail-order a suit from Aerostich in stock sizes or with custom measurements, but you’re still just ordering from a catalog or a website. If you want to see the differences in how the jackets, pants or one-piece suits actually fit, or the differences between the different weights in materials, then you’ve either got to make the trek to Duluth, Minnesota to visit Aerostich’s home base… or you go to a pop-up event, where they bring the company store on the road.

Here’s what Aerostich says to expect at the event:

  • Select suits in-stock & available for sale
  • Expert Fitting by Aerostich Factory Reps
  • Try on Aerostich Gear, including the R-3’s and the Transit Leathers
  • Graded sizes and available alterations for a better fit
  • Meet factory reps and make some new friends
  • Coffee, swag, friends, and deals

As you can see from the poster below, Aerostich’s event runs 9-6 PM at the Metro 580 Shopping Center, at 4515 Rosewood Drive in Pleasanton.

You can make an advance appointment for on-site sizing by emailing Stephanie Velasco at svelasco@aerostich.com. If you have questions about this or anything else at the event, call Aerostich at 1-800-222-1994 or email service@aerostich.com.

Over the years, we’ve written a lot about Aerostich gear (and talked to the founder here and here) because it’s very well-designed for a serious motorcyclist’s needs. While competitors might offer gear that’s better for active dual-sport riding or off-roading, a ‘Stich will keep you warm and dry in foul weather. Head down to the Pleasanton location in April and see the lineup for yourself.
