Leatt is introducing two new adventure riding-oriented helmets. The new Leatt ADV 9.5 Carbon and 8.5 models should be here by mid-December, and unlike other high-end motorcycle helmets, Leatt is offering them as an everything-included kit.

The idea is, “buy once, cry once,” instead of having to first buy a helmet and then buy the other accessories you want or need.

Alongside the helmet itself, the kit includes a photochromic shield which makes use of the latest UV technology, as well as an additional clear shield. The Pinlock® 120 XLT ensures fog-free visibility, and the bulletproof 4.5 Velocity goggles are perfect for off-road trail riding and all included in the kit.
Both the Leatt ADV 9.5 Carbon and the 8.5 adventure helmets have ECE 22.06 and DOT certifications. They are also two of the few premium helmets on the market with additional anti-rotational technology, increasing rider safety by reducing impact forces and brain rotational acceleration.
The PR we got is very low on details beyond some photos and the helmets’ names. No weight, no list of specs or features beyond what’s mentioned in that quote above. We can say there is only one color for the 9.5 Carbon version, which is (as the name implies) a carbon-fiber finish. The 8.5 will come in four different color options, including an eye-searing high-viz option for when you want to blind other commuters.
See the 8.5 in various configurations below:

Leatt has sold offroad motorcycle helmets in the past, so the idea of a Leatt helmet is nothing new in itself. But the company does say these are their “first motorcycle adventure helmet,” so we presume the older design is updated specifically for adventure riding. More info when these helmets actually arrive on the market.
